The Legible Bodies are seeking dancers for their 2020 season. We offer weekly classes/rehearsals and opportunities to perform throughout New England. Dancers with strong ballet, modern and/or jazz technique will be considered. Please bring your resume and be prepared to dance!

The Bodies are back at the Mill Arts Project gallery for a monthlong residency. Gallery hours will showcase the photography of Jeffrey Byrnes, and will be complimented by interactive displays created by the dancers and actor Joshua Pearson, brought to life by James Chevalier. An opening reception on Friday April 3rd will kick off the month's events and highlight Easthampton's celebration of National Poetry Month and Art Walk. The Bodies head to Chicopee, MA for the Elms College Dance Team's Community Concert. This event is a celebration of dance from youth companies, college teams, and professionals. Proceeds from the concert are donated to the "We Love Riley" Fan Club, a non-profit dedicated to supporting children battling cancer and their families.

Fresh off 2 sold out performances of "Graceland" the bodies are embarking on a new adventure. The Legible Bodies present scenes form their newest project, "The Whispering Line". Join the dancers for an informal showing of works from their newest production. Loosely based on the book “The Telephone Booth At The Edge Of The World”, the dances explore untold stories, un-had conversations and the catharsis of release.
